draining dreams to ashes

leaving wounds, not health,
to stagger in its wake.
How do we let this happen?
How does all the beauty
that is life escape us?
And we are torn between
the lead weights of the past,
the grasping of the future
as here and now
becomes a sheet of pain
beyond enduring

let it be.

You'd have to be in a secluded monastery specially built to keep out noise, spend hours in silent meditation, and use meditation in action when you werern't in "formal" meditation to approach that kind of place you're talking about.
