Misleading pics.......... (22)

Ok, I came across this pic of me taken in 2001......heck that's only a few months ago - isn't it? I've had to dye my hair a lighter shade of grey since then to make myself look more mature!

I agree with that one, why is this photo so far out of date? I spoke with someone on this site a couple of weeks ago. He told me, and I think this is so sad not to mention dishonest and a tad in fact disgusting, but he connected with a 'girl' from this site and had been chatting to her for a couple of months. He told me she was 'average' looking, not a monster and not a babe but he was happy with this as he would just like a nice down to earth relationship. He said she had shoulder length blonde hair and looked quite slim too.. anyway, he organized to meet her and take her out for a meal. When he arrived he waited for her at the table close to the door as agreed. She walked in. He said she was at the very least 20 stone and over 20 years older than her photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said he felt betrayed, deeply embarrassed, and humiliated. I mean can you imagine? He said the meal was a disaster as she had of course already lied to him so there was little to talk about.

Now I may be a little naive here, but I really wasn't aware that ANYONE could be THAT deceiving! I mean .. 20 stone and over 20 years older than her photo that said she was in her early forties?? I ask you, what is all that about?? So the moral of that story is.. what is the bloody point of being so dishonest?? You're only going to get caught out! Why put a photo of yourself looking younger? We could all do that! It's not difficult to look like a babe in your twenties, or even in your thirties, but age comes to us all. I know it's what's on the inside that counts, but to put a photo of yourself when you're still a babe when you are clearly no longer that is just dishonest and stupid in the extreme. So, my advice to the Knight's Templer is to post a more.. er.. shal we say 'recent' photo so that us ladies are not under ANY illusions!

P.S. I just had a peek at your profile cuspofmagic and may I say I really love the photo of you looking at the camera. To me, you look like a real life wizard. Very deep knowlagable and intense eyes, I love that. So, I would like to advice you to change your photo and make that one your main one because it really does speak volumes and it's easier to connect while writing on these forums to you.
