Well yes of course.I am over 40 and turned into a homeless no good drunk.Too lazy to even brush my teeth.
Just kidding.It seems like a lot of guys my age go thru the so called midlife crisis.Dump their life,grow a beard,date a teenie and get a harley.

Sounds like you just met tired men over 40!
I cant claim to be active at the moment but when i am better i will run around like a maniac as i now realise how much i took good health for granted.

Ken i take em every 8 hours, it wont matter.Only thing that is important is i remember which room the loo is in and i dont think my cats are toothbrushes.

It's really unfortunate that women and/or men have this deformed idea of what 'men/women are really like'. Seems like you are all attracted to this style and have never learnt to put two and two together and steer clear of this style of person. (because , you seem to be getting the same result) To finish off - idleness is not merely a male quality. I have known a lot of lazy women.

tufty: Kinda realised I was feeling pretty lazy and demotivated about 3 years ago, soooooo gave up faffing about with databases and spreadsheets and got a job out and about driving a truck, delivering stuff, picking stuff up, driving a forklift, the odd DIY job here and there, not been happier in YEARS
That's cool. I'm still doing the corporate thing. I really don't know what else I'd want to do?

I wanna know if they stop being actives, i wanna know if we really have to be their mothers as even to give them the enthusiasm for life, which most of the times turns us into day cares, trying to grab a difficult smile, a rare laughter?
Do they always act as if life is no different than if we would not be there? But then they are the drama queens when there is big issue...just like real kids?
Have any of you, women out there had an active man for long, who was really active by nature and loved doing stuff without feeling employee of the marriege?
