Never really thought about it much until I got on this site. A lot of people talk about it here. Past experiences make me who/what I am and naturally affect decisions I make in the here and now. I enjoy life to much to let bad experiences color my life so I just go on. But I guess each to his own. My experiences could be someone else's baggage or vice versa.
Zeelander: I have found that the best way for me to get rid of baggage is to take a long trip. It seems to clear the mind so I can start fresh. Plus , by taking a long trip I know the airlines will loose my baggage, never to be seen again.

I think I need a long trip because I need to lose some baggage. I agree with Zee. Losing luggage clears my mind and it happens after a long trip.

Put it in the trash where it belongs and move on with your life...no one needs excess baggage weighing them down... However, we all must learn from our pasts we just cannot let it keep us from living our lives or from being happy

I personally have to FIND the baggage first.... then I have to address it, take it out.. analyze it... learn every thing I can from it... I went through the lesson and don't care to have it happen again... and then the parts I don't need get shredded.
Clean it out...take a look at it to see if it still fits or still in style...if not...I bag it up and send it on it's way but keep the reminder of why I bought it in the first place....

This isn't the Sierra Madre, Kid, but, just maybe there's treasure...
