People use love as a guise for getting what they want. Maybe that is why relationships dont last, because once people have what they thought they wanted, then they can dispose of the means of getting it?

I know where you're coming from but keep in mind, we are talking about humanoid relations here - we're hardly perfect and so it's highly unlikely we'd be expressing perfect love.I think it's important we try - even if our attempts at love fall short of noble or pure, perfect...

Last weekend I somehow found the courage to open up my mother's letters to me for the first time, 13 years after her death. I cried over half the day - big crying. I was totally humbled by her love for me and I'll never know what I ever did to deserve it.... I wish she was here sometimes to hold my hand and stroke my hair - that was Love, my friend Misha.
