JP, I think you nailed it! I like it, and I'll second it. I usually see this w/o the genie twist, and my answer is much different then...closer to Karitza's.

I guess tha would be one fine holliday, i would have to wish like this;
1, i would wish that there was everything needed to survive on the island, when asked what i meant i would explain, fresh water and food ( as much as i could ever want eg. never ending suply).
2, my second wish would be for a companion to acompany me on this island, femail obviously. the terms of whitch would have to be, she must love me and be happy with me for the rest of her life and i must love her and be happy with her for the rest of my life.
and finaly,
3, i would wish for constant travel from my new home at the deserted island to family and freinds of my and my partnerd choosing allowing us to leave and our freinds to come to us.(oh and the church to get married)
this would be the perfect life, great family and able to live off the land.
remember you didnt say the land wasn't useable just that the island was deserted!
