Reading the posts I often wonder if some of you are on medication for your depression, ADHD or other male-functions. (Not all of you! Some....)
And do you believe that's the way to go, or that there could be another way to cure your lonelyness or other imperfections.

I think you mean "malfunctions" hon...?

Personally, I do take what I call "happy pills" (something for anxiety) since I was hospitalized New Year's Eve '03, dying of malnutrition and dehydration. I've tried to go off the pills a couple of times since then, but between the stress of my marriage, and some other biochemical imbalances that were due to my original illness, were such that I was unable to function well without them.

I have now been separated since Jan of this year, and am hoping that through mediTAtion and other peaceful, quieting practices, I will eventually be able to go off the pills.

My daughter takes meds for ADHD, otherwise she can't function at school.

I am anti-meds unless there is absolutely no other way to have things go the way we need them to go.

A slightly sensitive subject for many... Like with most other things, there is no right way or wrong way - you do what you have to do to have a good life. I think some people who are on meds probably shouldn't be, while there are others who aren't taking anything but who would benefit from doing so.

Personally, I've been on antidepressants since 2000 (Didn't like living in the U.S. lol), which has really helped me to focus on what's important for me. Been "phasing out" for the last year, and june will be my first med-free month. And that feels really nice - cause taking meds is a drag!
