Yeah,i don't mind cats,as such,but they don't seem very impressed when you try to take them for a walk.
Thats why i prefer dogs.
Still,cats do live a lot longer,having 9 lives,and everything.

We had to have her put to sleep yesterday, her injuries were a lot worse than first thought.

Aw, no that's bad news. I had 2 of mine ran over so know how you feel

Animals are very amazing creatures. All animals have a natural 6th sense (even humans) for basic survival. Some have stronger abilities than others.
Having been born and raised in California, the animals are very good earthquake detectors too.
I've always believed when people die their spirit gets to stay for a bit to make sure the loved someones left behind are okay before they move on. I also feel, animals can either see or sense that spirit. Man, I can give you dozens of stories that made me form that opinion.
I love all animals. I just can't resist their fuzzy faces. Cats are my favorites though. There is nothing more soothing than a cat purring in your ear.
