I thought I start a thread to see if we can get & give different ideas on dinner ideas! Enjoy!

I'll start it off... my friend invited me over for shrimp scampi & salad tonight.

May not be having anything special tonight, but last night had a stew I threw together at the last minute for unexpected company. It wasn't too bad, but could have been better. wave conversing

Well, half a portion.... I guess the idea when you strain the water is to put something underneath first.... and not pour half of the Tortellini into soapy dishwater..... blues

I hadn't really thought about it, and hate cooking for one...but I might just go all out with a chicken leg, rice and asparagus. Now you've got me hungry and a full dinner sounds really good. wave If anyone is close enough and wants to join me, I'll make enough for two!

Cooking is a passion for me. Even though my daughter's grown & out of the house, I still love to cook great meals just for me. Then I make sure I have enough for my lunch the next day. It makes my coworkers' mouths water! laugh wine

rolling on the floor laughing I have leftovers, and was thinking of having them tonight...but it's only baked beans. This made me think about it and I've discovered lately that I actually enjoy cooking a little bit. (Never will it be a passion, though.) Now, when I return to the work force, I'll have to keep that part about making their mouths water in mind!rolling on the floor laughing

There are times when I bring in a bit extra for them, depending on what I've made. I know the one guy won't eat my food because he's a vegetarian. Well, that is, if I've made meat.

Once we were having a get-together for a holiday in our building, & we each brought in a dish. I brought in a crock of broccoli-cheese soup. They were all RAVING about it! When they asked me for the recipe, I said, "It's actually very simple. I open the cans, pour in the milk & stir!" rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

I had taken the easy way out & bought Campbell's soup. thumbs up
