I am here for 3 reasons, and one of them is to practice my English. It´s a second language to me. I do understand most of what I read, and I also miss some things. I have learned a lot already. I create lots of threads because it gives me a chance to talk to people in context about something I have the vocabulary to keep up. I keep asking you guys to correct me and I try to choose my words carefully, but I can´t always get it right. I have apologized a few times for things I have said that didn´t sound right when it was pointed out to me. I am trying, and still my English is better than anyone here´s Portuguese. Try entering a site with only Portuguese speakers, post jokes and comments and see how you feel.

I like to make friends and be nice to people, and my sens of humor is sort of sarcastic, which is ok when I express it in Portuguese but I´ve noticed already, through experiences HERE, that it doesn´t work well in English.

And I actually MEANT that post to Conrad as I was laughing along WITH him, since we´ve had a few bumps in here and I wanted to be nice. But what the heck, like I´m gonna ruin my day because of any arrogant jerk. I will go have fun with people who actually understand me and enjoy me, and this subject is closed to me.

If you want to talk about it, anytime, let me know and if I´m wrong I will apologize and make it up to you. But either let´s talk in private about our matters or go ahead and post it so everyone can´t see, because I can´t guess what this is about.
