Mummy: do you look for the interesting written word, a few giggles, or just look at the pictures?
a few giggles is important to me, i generally read the profile if it ain't too long winded and if i see a nice friendly face.....you're on to a winner!

I read the whole thing.
I love a great sense of humor, but in the profiles, I try to get a sense of what kind of person she is. I know that is next to impossible to do, but it is a start.

Sometimes if I get a flower or mail from them, I'll look a bit closer. Yes, what they say does matter to me. And this might sound shallow, but if they're lacking in grammatical skills... to me, that's a turn-off. But then, I did a lot of proofreading & editing in my previous position. And my mom used to scold me for always correcting my brother & sister. I can't help it! Just always been a pet peeve of mine. But I've gotten much better throughout the years!

Yep i certainly agree with the grammer part .If i come across a text phone description i lose (was that one "o" or two) interest straight away , other than that if theres some nice photos, an interesting and light hearted profile works for me..oh and millionairess really gets me

I want to see what is in the pic with them, what they wear or if they make their bed... do the have pets or are they drinking or smoking in the pic.
I look at how they express themselves. If I see "yadda yadda , I'll fill this in later"... yadda yadda, I'll respond when you do.
And the one thing I always check... what they have posted in the forums.
I had a couple of guys who looked quite interesting until I read the dribble they spewed... and go figure, it was all right there, conveniently available on their profile.
I read everything, even the comments left behind.
These things are publicly viewable for a reason... so i use them to determine who I'm dealing with.

of the person your talking to. No it's not impossible . Unless you get
someone with several personalities, then , then that's another

Usually check out the pictures then follow up with profiles. Some of the profiles are hilarious!! Love a great sense of humor and someone who can laugh at themselves! Unless its someone like "Kissmedeeply" - then I just oogle the pictures!!

If someone catches my eye, posted something interesting in the forums, emailed me, or I can't make out their picture at I'll look at their profile, then If find find them somewhat attractive, I'll read their profile, then if I'm still interested ,I'll email them or return an email....

I was like that growing up...lost pen pals by sending their letters back corrected for spelling and grammar in red pen.
I've gotten over it. I don't judge a man's intelligence by their spelling and grammar anymore. I rarely go through profiles, but if I do look at one, I always like one that can give me a giggle or two...or where there's something unique that catches my eye.
