I have joined “Connecting Singles” just today. Actually I’m new in the world of dating on-line. I have never tried it before. But I thought try it. Still, I’m not sure if this site is serious or is simply a hoax, i.e. gimmicks.
I checked some profiles and emailed their owners. But I have not received yet any reply. If I do not get any reply, i.e. none is interested in writing to me, then it is one of two things. Either I’m not interesting enough, or the whole thing is gimmicks.
The reason I’m looking for a girl-friend over the Internet is that my relationship with my wife has gone sour. And in Bielefeld, a kind of province, it is extremely difficult to get to know people.
What do you think?

You really should wait until you are out of that marriage first. Yes this place is real , I have met several here. And many have dated and found the love of their lives here. Also, women esp the good looking ones get lots of mail (I should have their problem) so it may take time for them to get around to you. Yeah, and being married no matter how you color it will turn off a lot of prospective dates quicker than you can say Guten tag.

Must admit that I'm a newcomer myself, but I'm already truly impressed with this site. Lots of people don't write back to me but that's probably because I'm a lunatic, and not everybody shares my "sense of humour"?. However, everyone I've "met" so far have turned out to be genuine, good-hearted people so don't give up.
You should also look at the blogs and join the forums because you will meet some great and crazy people that way while you're waiting to find someone special. I doubt if anything's going to happen over five minutes because real people need a little time to get to know you and visa-versa. It's great to have sites like this when one lives in remote places, but like anything else you will have to give it time:- Why not just enjoy yourself and see where it goes. (I'm sure a'photo would help because if you're serious, most women need to know a little more....for better or for worse!)

Totally understandable...but I mena the counterpart...was he not willing to relocate neither? You might of set your mind only on a visit or vacation and he maybe too...but someway along the line....being a man and if I really love the woman...I wouldn't even hesitate on moving to go and live with my hunnybun....

I don’t know guys how you feel about it. Many of us humans have got almost everything for decent living. Materially I have got all ingredients for good living. Yet I’m unhappy. I know many people. I have many fiends, some of them are women, but none of them is fit as a girl friend or wife. There is a huge gap in my life. Very often I feel lonely also when I’m with my friends. Somebody is missing, a real female partner. Well, life can never be perfect. Pity.

I believe that too, but sometimes at our age, if we have a paid for home and a great job, then that one won't want to move. And If the other one isn't willing to move either for important reasons then it just won't work. But the chances are still good at finding the right combination that works, such as one living closer, just takes awhile.

Story is >>> material stuff dont make happy...its just periodaical...when u just buy or get something new you are mostly happy...but tomorrow or sometime the same day you dont even see it standing....love, affection and understanding are not things we see with our eyes...you cant feel them and that makes it worth having these things farmost first in life...knowing u can be a happy soul than just the material things...such is life my friend...we cant change it...just try to make the best out of it... <<<<
