I know lots of women (females) who when talking use swear words in front and in the company off us blokes...Here in france for example women use 'putain, merde, vas faire foutre..'(do the translation yourself)..It's not the fact that people use swear words in front of women but more in how the word/ phrase is used... I have never came across the use of swear words on the EU forum as offensive..they are used in a way that when kept in context are funny...
While we are on the subject of what is acceptable when peole are talking..it may have been some sensible to say not in front of kids....

I seem to re-call reading somewhere or other that those Great White Sharks that usually frequent False Bay off Cape Town migrate up to the seas near Malta at his time of the year, cause they prefer the 23 degrees.....? ... So, you swim all alone ... you said?....

Hello Lago, Yes, I`ve been dithering about with one of those "I`m going to SA"/"I`m not going to SA", and the latter version won - I`m so glad to stay here - the weather is sublime - the most beautiful Autumn I have yet experienced - lovely weather!
About the Great Whites ..... I was just joking ..... but then sometimes my jokes are borne out by some deep rooted ancestral knowledge contained deep within - and only released in moments of macabre humour.
Well .... as in Cape Town, make sure you don`t pee in the water while you swimming, huh! and you should be okay. Unfortunately, about the headlines ........ the GW simply rips you in half and two bites later you gone - like a penquin! I would suggest you swim with a bucket of red meat scraps towed behind you for bait - so he goes for that first .. and gives you time to run on the water back to land?
