Someone did try and walk with the Lions once in Africa .... and the Rangers found his boots! A tourist who thought the big cats looked so tame, lying under the trees in the shade ........
Another one (tourist) got stomped into the ground by big Elephant feet for getting too close to the herd!
So ... maybe the New Zealand meat / USA Grand Canyon would be safer bets?

I lived in the Congo for three years and never saw a single lion or elephant there......... but saw plenty in Kenya. I'd take smoky's advice re. walking with them.
New Zealand - me too, but for different reasons.
USA - been there but not to the Grand Canyon (I hear it gets a bit hot down there for horses!)

Malta-people in CS attracted my attention to this country.
Italy-there are a lot of ancient sites and artefacts.

Germany - hmmmm..... lived there a few times and I must admit there are parts of Germany I really like (just got back from a week out there, and going back again in a few days).
I would very much like to see Ireland.
I don`t know why ........ but a country I`d like to see would be Scotland.......

I remember going there for just a day...... the quality of the light was perfect....never seen such beautiful light in my life anywhere else in the world!

Despite Elley' bad press, Scotland is beautiful, I love St Andrews and Edinburgh.

Yep mate, tell me about it. My native country is truly beautiful but take a brolly and anorak. And go in July/Aug.
Y'all should visit Bulgaria. 2 days in the capital and a few days in Varna. (which I haven't been to myself yet but by all accounts it's the best resort in the country).
The weather in Bulgaria is truly excellent. Right now it's dry and mild. Probably get up to 15 or more in the afternoon.
I would like to spend a couple of years travelling around in Africa as a messenger for the voluntary organisations there. I have so many questions I would like to find answers for about the countries in the midst of that continent, answers I think will only be found on site.
Specific countries? Not many left, but...
Africa
Mali and the city of Timbuktu - to stay there for a few months and enjoy the local music and cuisine. It is supposed to be something special.
Asia
Mongolia - to have a rave with the locals, I think that would be fun and interesting.
Russia – Vladivostok by train - because it is so far away from everything else we know.
South America
The west coast, all the way down, the ruins and the people left from the old cultures there.
