I see so many people join CS forums and then leave and only a few who always stick around. Wonder what could be possible reasons for people to lose interest in the CS forums?
Not trying to be judgemental but let's just brain-storm, if you like..
Just not making friends the way they wanted...or finding that it was too addictive and disrupted their lives, so work or school was suffering.
That one I can understand, as both my business and schooling have suffered for it, so I will be less active here very soon. I won't leave, but I will be on less. I need to...I've let it consume my life.
Some find too much negativity, like in the religious and political threads. I can't blame them there.

Everyone on here's judgemental. If they answer your question they're judgemental even.

True. But let's consider them not targeted and for the sake of "brain-storm" only. So your posting doesn't necessarily mean your personal opinion but the thing came to your mind without much thinking..

i suppose people leave for many reasons. some examples may be; lack of engagement, feeling like an outsider, not what they were expecting, too much drama/bickering, no sense of humor, got addicted and had to leave for their own sanity, etc....

I agree...not to mention the people who just like to cause trouble....that's enough to turn anybody off this place....

Actually, there's 2 people that have hardly been on at all since the election. I figure they were paid political hacks for Obama. They seemed like it.
