yubba: There you are, you see, at least someone has found friends!...................1 in how many?, although you should read carefully that l wrote here possiby you would understand better.

I did take off my profile some time back and was 'pestered' with emails from the site. In answer to your question l am removing my profile because l know l will never find the person l am looking for, however on another site l get about 10 'looks' per day and even after 3 months thats quite good, scammers and bed hoppers apart l get a wider choice..............................but they are not what l am looking for!

Maybe...just maybe, you get more responses from those sites with "bed hoppers" because you appear to have no clothes on!! try presenting yourself as a gentleman with a shirt on, and maybe LADIES will respond to you!! Just a thought!!doh

BnaturAl: people like to take sides

people like to take sides based on "friends"

people get sensitive when you challenge their beliefs as if you're killing their unborn child

people react emotionally, totally missing the content

people choose sides based on beliefs

people.

This is true is some cases, but I don't think it has to do with being friends, people take sides of a person's point of veiw on a particular subject.....

Example I can debate with someone in one thread, criticise what they think in another, then paise then in another... My anwsers, are based on what I feel about a subject......cheers

It does still seem to me that many Forum posters expect others to do all the work and not make any effort themselves...?? Nothing in life falls into one's lap.....

As I said before, it takes the effort of ALL participants. Those that should try a little harder perhaps and those that should be more welcoming.....

I'm not sure I agree with Rusty's comment. I can't imagine I would send a mail to someone to tell them to "F*ck off..."!! AND.... I have only had ONE nasty e-mail in all the years I have been here. Yes, just the ONE.... totally unprovoked, from someone who everyone thinks is a darling....??!!
doh
So, ya see..... invariably, what ya see is NOT always what ya get?!!

peace

And that's the way these threads always end....

The group conversation turns into personal conversations between friends.....

And those who express their sadness that they are being ignored are told that they are "whiners"

sigh
