And no, that's no easy task with the distance between you, so it's a very romantic plan.I don't have any romantic feats planned since I don't have a romantic partner in my life at the moment. Finding one isn't even on my list of things to do right now...but I'm excited for the two of you. I wish you both the best.

Yeah, I tried to do it the other day. Since the bank that holds my credit card was bought a few months back, they apparently canceled my card and sent me a new one which I never got.
So I am waiting for a new one to arrive. I am glad I wasn't at a gas station with a full tank of gas trying to get my card to go through before I discovered it.

Thanks, Laura! I know I can be a fool for romance sometimes. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble locating any of my many credit cards and my bank's computer is down indefinitely, so I may ask her to purchase the gift certificate in my name.
I wouldn't let a little matter of finances get in the way of our love. That's just the kind of romantic fool I can be.
