There's a man I love very much, and who loves me equally in return...but we're too different to make it work in this lifetime, unfortunately, and he's too scared to even let me in close enough to try. I think that's even harder to deal with sometimes than unrequited love. I loved him during my last marriage, and I'm sure I'll love him for the rest of my life.
