That is $100.00 a barrel lower than it was this summer. OPEC is in shambles and they can't agree on anything including cutting production because they don't trust each other to honor any production cuts. Seems they don't want to lose any more money than they have already.

This is just to make people sick and drive them insane...disregard your concerns and enjoy your life my friend. Just wave those gas stations as you pass by and instead put smile on your face as family is waiting on you at home
High gas price was to create $$$ recount....faster financial export overseas where money is safely sheltered from terorists and you...
Government is creating high mode fluctuactions in hope that would provoke in people unbalanced uncertainties....
It's not enough to strip people off dignity, pride, and honor....neither to break families and leave kids with separated parents...financially broke.....IT'S PEOPLE SANITY THAT GOVERNMENT WANTS....ANOTHER SAFE INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE WHEN YOU'LL BE ALL BUYING EXPENSIVE MEDICINES WHILE DEPENDING ON THEM....your finances controlled by insurance etc.
Lets put the blame where blame is due for these damn low gas prices.... it's all George Bush's fault. First he drives the price way up now he drives the price way down.... WTF?

Its all about peak season pricing...people have changed their consumption so demand is lower, supply is higher, and overall prices go down. Wait until peak travel season next year...they'll be gouging us again...
tanja_70: In Western Europe 1 gallon costs about 4,50 $ In Eastern Europe 1 gallon costs about 6,00 $ In USA 1 gallon costs about 1,90 $
How? Why?
USA has own production of oil (I know that), but also that production is enough for 20% of American needs, only.
Question is: Why lower price? How lower price?Of course, OPEK will reduce oil production and price will be at least about 6,00 $ per 1 gallon.
That's because the majority of our imports are crude, but the refining occurs domestically...and we have better technology and facilities than a lot of other countries for that sort of industry. Lower the overall cost of oil production from crude to unleaded and you see an overall drop in prices.

Still gouging for diesel fuel here, so I'm still driving my old van around. It gets worse mileage but overall cheaper to operate than my diesel truck by quite a bit.

That's because diesel's demand is fairly constant. Some domestic use of it is made, but mostly its used in commercial endeavors...constant demand = higher price, because supply is not constant and they have to stockpile to meet demand...
That's one reason its called a "strategic reserve"

There's always been a constant demand, and it used to be cheaper the gasoline until a few years ago here. It's cheaper to process and less additives than gas so it should cheaper, and at least be proportionate in price increases and decreases compared to gas. It's not even close. Although there are more diesel light trucks on the roads than ever before, but even still it's over priced.

Tanks aren't measured by the mpg or kpl, they're measured in lpk or gpm...

Do you know how many companies relocated from Usa in Europe and Azia (no matter on your technology - sounds Silly????)

I think you get more Gasoline from a Barrel of Crude Oil,than Diesel.
funny how the high price of gas was blamed on Bush, yet when it falls it is atributed to lower consumption. Will OBama be blamed when gas goes up in the spring? I think not.... y'all would be happy to pay $10 a gallon.
