I could not sleep last night for the wrath that I incurred on men yesterday! thought would put a poll up today for all the men only to vote should I leave the site forever! Bet that would be good I am definitely out! Thanks for comments its been good and much enjoyed. You have been brilliant. I tried the camels and they do not kiss nicely very sloppy in fact! What is wrong with bald my first husband was that way in fact he was a pro footballer and fairly famous, thats another story though. Merry Christmas to you

In a nutshell, Mindy, I think there was a thread by a slightly over-weight middle aged lady wondering why guys who are over 45 all look like they're slightly over-weight and middle aged. It ran like a zillion pages and now she thinks that all the guys here over 45 hate her so she's thinking about leaving...
Never could quite figure out why folks would ask a question that they don't want the answer to.

I did follow some of the posts in your said thread, but I fail to make the connection as to why the responses should lead you to leave CS.
Or are we perhaps misunderstanding you. After all, you did say "emigrating"...
perhaps you are just crossing borders to, say, the EU pastures?
Hopefully, that's all it is. This place needs people like you to stir some controversy.

I do not think that my threads should be interesting, I do not start them with that thought in mind.
If they are interesting, they will take off, if not they will drop down the page.
This lady raised some hackles, but she was gracious and dignified throughout, I can understand why people would get upset, because I know that people do get upset in places like this.
I do not think she should go because of her thread, she has also been attacked, her looks ridiculed, she did not ridicule any person, she made a general comment about men over 45.
But it did not prevent some people pulling her looks apart.
And you are a better person than me, I can never tell when people look bored, sometimes, I think about something and I post. For me, I only need to post, to have some fun.
This place is supposed to be fun. Not a place where people are attacked and pulled apart.
Sadly that is the case and it was very much displayed here yesterday when I watched men, who thought it was necesaary to call kidgloves names, because she raised a question.

Those that feel the need to stomp someone perhaps have had a nerve hit? If and when that is the case.... a simple reply suffices.....

I hope you stay. My shell is a little on the fragile side and I tend to care a little too much if something negative is said to me whether in RL or here on CS, but I've toughened up over the years.
