My daughter and I watched Disturbia Friday night... and last night. It really was a good one. We both enjoyed it. It had her scared enough that she moved from the floor to the sofa with me.
I also have watched the Bourne Ultimatum. I loved it. I really like a good shoot 'em up action flik.

I thought both of those were good movies too, Dana! Actually, I'd like to have the entire Bourne collection!

I would too. All 3 are good movies. We don't go to the cinema often, we watch movies at home.
We are planning to go to see Marley and Me this week.
Marley and Me - when the book came out, I checked it out of the library. Before then, I'd read to Em and she'd last a couple of chapters before wanting to do something else. With that book, we laughed til we cried, we read parts of it with my mom, and she'd beg me to keep reading. I'd read until I was hoarse. Then we got to the last couple of chapters. We knew what was going to happen. We put it off for 2 weeks. Then I finally said, "lets do this." The three of us sat down together, mom included, and I finished reading the book.
We all enjoyed that experience of reading together so much, that it was something we began doing together as a family. We were in the middle of a book about a deaf Great Dane named Gracie when my mom died. We could never bring ourselves to finish that book.
So, anyway, I love movies, but I also love reading aloud as a family. We've always enjoyed it immensely.
In response to: that you watched? Was it good? Was it horrible? Would you recommend it?

Saw the very highly acclaimed movie Fred Claus with Vince Vaughn it was a funny movie and worth seeing for the holidays. Christmas with the Kranks isn't a new Holiday movie but it is nice also.
My favorite Holiday movie has to be Home for the Holidays directed by Jodie Foster it is about 13 years old but I have rewatched it almost every years there is some good ideas about life in that movie and the idea that instead of life being perfect there are perfect moments.
I seen the "worst" Nicolas Cage movie, ever! The Weather Man....VIEWER WARNING: if you're already depressed, DON'T watch it! You'll be suicidal by the end of the movie. It's as depressing as Will Smith's movie, The Pursuit Of Happiness. **Reality check**
Bucket List --- awesome! When my son asked what I wanted for Xmas - I asked for the dvd. It will be one I'll watch a bit of everyday - just to keep me reminded - we only get one life - don't wait (for the "right" person to come along, or till you have enuf money, lose weight, get a better place to live, a better car, etc.) - start living your life today if you haven't already been doing so. Cheers - and Merry Xmas to all.
