I am with you, it is ok for people not to understand me.

I could, forever, expecting them to, but I do no longer.

Frankly, your post is brilliant.

I like it, alot.

I accept people who they are and if they and I do not get along, then I just accept that.

As I readily accept people I do get along with.

For some reason, and I have seen it in many forums, in my day to day to life, but mainly online, people feel that I care about what they think, who they tell it to and that it gets to me.

It does not.

I look, sometimes I make a comment, sometimes, I ignore.

But then I think, alas, you win some, you lose some.

See, I am very secure in the people that I do like and want to exchange communications with, very secure, also in the man that I spend my time with and he me...

After that, there really is nothing else that I like to deal with.

Some people do hunt here, they drop in comments, seem to think it is funny, then the back up clan comes along.

Me?

I just trot along, have some fun, enjoy the forums and am happy with that.

But there are a certain group here, who just cannot stand me, insist on following my posts, hoping to find me in an altercation and cannot resist, then one after another they all pile in and titter and cackle and think it is amusing.

I sit, sigh and think here we go again.

When in essence, they are bringing more noteriety to me.

So, being here, for the time that i have and that is over a year now, which is another thing that is mentioned alot, ;I have been here longer' people make their own battles and think I am interested and that I tell people what to do.

But I do not, only when I am backed into a corner.

I tell people to leave me alone, in no uncertain terms and I am delivering those messages in English, not in Japanese... And yet they still do not get it.

So your thought for the day, is a good one.

I do wish people who dislike me, would just stay away from me, it is easy to do, rather than continue in the same vein, the whole time, I leave them alone, I steer well clear, I have zero interest, am not bothered, they do not feature in my life, which is a nice life filled with wonderful people. Children, song, dance, and a gorgeous man, I have everything one could hope for.

So, yes, continuing behaviour will lead to the same, always the same, time to step up and just let it go.

Do you really give a sheite what others think of you?? Personally, I do not. I spent many a year doing stupid stuff so others would like me.

Today, I know with all my heart I am loved, and I know the ones that do love me. I am me, I have no desire to be another. I am far from perfect but I like me today. There was a time I did not.

In another thread, someone (maybe you) stated that on a computer screen people can be whatever they want another to believe they are.

If someone wants to know the real me, they had better spend some time with me, walk in my shoes a day or two.. On here, there are times I am real, and there are times I am not..

No, no, no, lol, I do not think a toss of what people think of me, only those closest to me, those that I love and love me...

I do not have to watch my behaviour, I can be me, they may tell me that sometimes, I can be too straightforward.

I was talking with my boss the other day, and he asked me a question, I told him, as a clear and concise speaker, I will answer that way.

He responded 'Do not pamper yourself with that rubbish, there is nothing clear and concise about you, you are are exact'

Pat, I pay little attention to silly squabbles, but I do stand up and tell it how I see it, me alone, I have o interest in whether I have an audience, I do not need one, I have people I love who I can talk to each day, hug each day.

Yes, if people claim to know me, then they will have taken the time to get to know me, if they claim to know me and have not, then they get little in the way of change from me...

My point is this, I do not give a stuff, I like to work out my thoughts, but it does not stop me in my life, or who I am with, my point is the interest that other people have in me, even when they make it clear that they do not like me. They are still there, at every corner I turn. You know? Just there.

When I dislike a person, I will offer them the respect, I will stay away from them. So that they and I can be left in peace.

I take the areas of my life seriously, these ones, my role as a mother, my role as a teacher, my role as a partner, my role as a child of my father and my position as a friend. Those are what I take seriously.

After that, well, I choose to come here, everyday, so I cannot complain, it is my choice and I enjoy it, immensely, good chats such as this, no belligerence, just nice, healthy conversations that are good. With good people, such as the people in this thread. Yourself included.

I guess my point is, all threads are open to all, there are many areas, I find myself in some fun ones that are turned into nasty ones. And I am the target blame. Especially when the pack mentality hits.

I have visions of them all behind the scenes, writing telling each other when to go in. That is how I do it and it brings a smile to my face, because that is exact.

Not that I care, it just somewhat bemuses me. Is it jealousy? Is it because they are fascinated with me? is it because they want to break me down? Who the hell knows, but they are definitely on some mission.

Your thought, Pat, has led me to this, point. Just thinking out loud, whilst I sit on my sofa, with a coffee, before I pack to go see my beautiful man...
