I received an email from the owners of a site on which I am no longer a member, in fact was member for shortest time. Only had been curious so of-course had to pay to enter. A weird site where all the men HAVE to specify their annual income PLUS their net worth, and they need to be 'a millionaire' or 'gazillionaire'. Turns out my profile is still there and I was notified that the person below has sent me an email.
Now it is quite obvious what this fellow is after. Probably married, too. What would you do? Would you be curious as to what he has written in the email he has sent?(it is there, flashing, but I can't open it). Or should I delete it.
Here is his profile:
"Describing Myself: I am seeking a friendly, fun and caring long term lover. Managing a large business is stressful and I want someone to relax with and spoil. I love travelling, dining out, golf, movies/theatre, good wine and theatre. I am a genuine nice guy who my friends and staff adore, VERY generous and not very demanding. My job has very flexible hours so I can play day or night. I live in Melbourne but prefer a regular long term lover in Adelaide as I am working there from Tuesday to Friday indefinitely. As my profile says I seek a fun and passionate lover and a great friend, hopefully on a long term basis. Because of my senior position I will not put up a photo for everyone to see but very happy to send one immediately to anyone interested Go on take a chance, dare you. "
Oh,the site tells me he has placed me on his 'Hot List'
OK. Your opinions please. A bit of fun.
Many women advertise openly for just such a man; one sees the ads all the time in almost all newspapers...
solitare: Many women advertise openly for just such a man; one sees the ads all the time in almost all newspapers...
It is getting very late where I am so I will keep this brief as my brain is almost complete mush.
But solitare, you just reminded me of something:
I started a thread a few months ago about "Pamela Harriman". She was the U.S. Ambassador to France. Well, that was her last formal posiition.
She was first married to Winston Churchill's son, divorced him as he was abusive and an alcoholic. She then moved from England to Paris where she trained as a courtesan. Apparently such ladies are encouraged to be highly selective, and permitted to marry any of the men they grow 'close' to. Well, she did just that. Two other men in fact. And each time, her wealth and general standing in the community grew substantially.
So much so, she was able to play a significant part financially, after scouting the talent, and hugely subsidised the democratic candidate of a U.S. President, that of Bill Clinton. He later reciprcated her generosity by awarding her whatever she wanted. Which was...U.S. Ambassador to France. And based where...?
A perfect example of 'an equal opportunity' employment position; be it a 'formal position' or an informal one... In France it is and always will be an institution; an integral part of society...always serving the best interests of France..

Obviously he thinks you are 'hot stuff'!......................Go on then, we all do!!
potsy_au: Depends on what you want. I think you know what he wants. Relationships should be all about honesty.Since the dawn of time there have been many different kinds of realtionships. If you want a long term realtionship of a permanent nature then just forget the email. However if you are curious to see where such a relationship will go, then go for it.
Honesty with yourself
If you are after lots of fun play (this part is very questionable, yet to find out)
coming in one package with
possibly getting yourself into a big mess ( this part is almost guaranteed), and very dishonorable position (guaranteed),
the answer is 'yes' GO FOR IT!! You are not looking for love and all this SH!*, right?
Venera, I know you question it hypothetically for every-one's benefit - not because you are after this kind of "relationship".
Just hoped some CS guys would come forward and satisfy our curiosity, 'coz Venera probably has to pay membership if she is to open that email .
Hi laura,
I am always 'curious' about people. That's why I work in the field that I do.
And yep, need to pay mah 2 bits, to read the email They've been trying to get me to resubscribe. I think having a 'plant' is their way of trying to entice people back.
My main pic was of me about 2 yrs ago now, at a friend's place, wearing a denim jacket, and laughing at something funny he had said. Hardly 'hot stuff'!!!
laura225: Venera, I know you question it hypothetically for every-one's benefit - not because you are after this kind of "relationship". So is the answer
Yes, I think it is an interesting hypothetical.
Mainly because issues like this are not always so black and white.
