To me this topic is no laughing matter; it's the biggest disgrace we witness as civilized societies nowadays....and we have money for so many projects and places, and yet somehow....people are not really people or who cares.....it's a sin and shame on all of us for allowing it to happen and to continue happening.

Yes it is sad. And I guess it is our fault for always assuming the government will take care of them.

True...if we cant even get WATER to the hurricane Katrina victims, how is Big Govt going to bail us out of this debacle....Many struggle to make their mortgage payment, when they really could not afford it begin with....
