Just wondered if the use of such drugs would turn you off a man? I'm about to do my second, 12-week steroid cycle and, while I wouldn't volunteer the information to a potential partner, I would 'fess up if asked. Would it be a deal-breaker for you (please, no moralisers)?
Sorry to hear that, but I presume you mean hard drugs rather than steroids? Never heard of anyone dying of steroid use, other than champion powerlifters and bodybuilders using stupid amounts – they're actually very safe if used sensibly and with a little know-how.
I certainly wouldn't date anyone on hard drugs because, apart from anything else, hard drug users always lie and steal.
It's a turn off for me. I rather a guy work hard for his muscle instead of taking drugs. Though, when I was 15 my boyfriend at the time was 16 and on them. He had muscles alright, now a days he's just ick! Since he stopped taking them he lost everything.

I think it would be a deal-breaker for most women - if they knew from the get-go, at least. That's based on my own conversations with women.
And by the way, to those who think steroids make you muscular without work, you're quite wrong. You have to exercise *hard* to develop muscles whether or not you use steroids. You just get bigger and generally more defined if you do.
Most if not all of the male models you ladies salivate over have used or are using steroids. You know, those ripped guys with the huge, venous arms? Them's from steroids.

If you're using steroids to treat an illness, no problem with it. If you're using them for weight lifting, then you're a vain idiot and I wouldn't date someone like that...but then, you'd be looking for a woman built that way as well, so it wouldn't be an issue.

Not all of us drool over them, Ambrose. I sure don't. And no, I have no desire to date a man who looks like that, either.

Not necessarily. I certainly wouldn't require, or even particularly desire, my lady to be as muscular as I am.
If you're vain to take steroids to get bigger muscles, are you also vain to simply exercise to be stronger and look more muscular? Is it a matter of degree?
I have to agree with Druidess, Ambrose. That body builder physique has always been a big turn off for me. I don't think any of my friends ever went for that either...

Most women don't seem to like the bodybuilder look, granted.
But what do you think of "fitness models" (those who typically expose significant parts of their bodies in advertising a product, such as underwear)?

And yes, Ambrose, my friend...it's a matter of degree. Also remember that I'm into natural medicine and natural living, so I have an aversion to all things like this. Always have, though. I also live free of artifice...no dying my hair, no make-up...don't fake anything. I might have tolerated the slight use of them when I was younger...now I would find it a total turn-off. Evolution, my friend.
