It looks like with all the things they can make in the world, they could make a glass that would not leak. The colder the glass or plastic the faster it leaks. When warmer it does not leak as fast. it may take days before all the water is leaked out and the glass is dry. It must be expanding of the atoms in the glass until the tiny holes in the glass are tighter. The atoms must shrink and the holes are bigger in a cold glass. my last experiment with this was last night. I made a glass of tea with ice and sure enough in a few minutes water starting leaking through the glass. It leaked and if not for a coaster the water would have gotten my table wet. I also noticed that the water is clear. The tiny holes that let the water out also caught the tea particles and kept them inside the glass. Perhaps this filter effect could be used to make clean water in third world areas where they have dirty water. The only problem is that ice would be needed to make the glass cold or it would leak too slowly to be beneficial. You could die of thirst before enough water filtered through the warm glass. I am still working on this problem and experimenting. I think I will get a goverment grant if I can to study this problem. What do you think!

RillyNiceGuy: Sounds like you have been playing with your can too much. If I concentrate real hard...I will figure this all out. But science is not as easy as I thunked!.
Just common sense really, just concertina the thought process into your brain and your ready to go.
May take a bit of squeezing in if theres too much rubbish already in there, but soaking your head in hot water often allows debris to wash out. I believe its called caterpillar action

I should have been a science guy!
