For the record, I listen to country music (all kinds), blues, jazz, old rock - pretty well anything except opera and classical.

Hi conrad yep slim was cool my dad use to play his songs all the time he actually use to have a holiday house about 15 minutes away from were im living, he was always a regular at the local pub at the time

Good country music gets right past cynicicm, to the heart and soul of the truth of living, and all it's attandant emotions. I have a soft spot for country music myself, but only the best of.....
I generally tend to love all music as long as it is not badly written or arranged, though I rarely listen to any these days, because then I might have to acknowledge I had feelings...
