I do hope it's not yourself you're referring to. If you're shy, that can pose a hindrance in your own mind, but shyness is a very attractive quality, in both men and women. I like shyness in a man - not weakness, but shyness. I don't like loud and arrogant people, and that goes for both men and women.

If you're referring to the lack of takers on here - welcome to the world of CS, where casual emailing usually amounts to nothing, or else you land up with the chancers.

Perhaps join a more serious site, one that makes people pay to be a member of, because at least they are on there looking for a partner, and don't have the luxury of free forum chats to spend their time on.

I know Mollybaby has said this site is as good as any of the others - and it is, if you're looking for company and the occasional mail. However, I know of quite a few people who have joined other sites that use psychological profiling to try and match you up with potential partners, and it has worked for many.

The world has changed. And remember this - we are ALL on here, dateless lol.

I read your profile, you are looking for something serious. Just looking at the mail I received before I blocked all mail - 95% on here are looking for a leg-over and throw in a good few weirdos. If you want to start something serious, I think this is not the place to look for it.

Go out with friends, have fun and don't make meeting someone a mission. Join a club etc. with people of similar interests, I think chances of meeting someone compatible there are better and best of all, try meeting someone through friends.

Perhaps they didn't find you attractive? Just sayin... And no, it's not meant to be insulting.

Low self esteem is a personal thought - someone else saying they are great doesn't fix them.
