I've been on here for a couple of years and I've enjoyed being on the forums and going to a couple of Meet Ups.
However some good things must come to an end. I'm addicted to the forums and I need to stop.
The only way this is going to happen is if I make one of these stupid announcements! That way I would be too embarrassed to come back.

Why do people say this like it's a punishable offence
It's entertainment, pure and simple, just like many are content to sit with glazed eyes in front of the TV.
But at least this way there is some form of social contact.

Hey don't go, you contribute so much. Do you have anything else that you must do besides talking with your friends on here? I see it as a good way to make friends when other options may not work for you eg, clubs/pubs etc. Hang in there, you would be missed if you go I' sure.

It was funny because at the same time someone else had posted a leaving thread, then stuck around to reply to everyone who posted in it. Made me laugh.

Hope to get into that a bit.
Also, there are other f.ree day ting sites that don't have forums so I will probably try my luck there.

you know I was about to limp off again myself as I was nearly caught by a scammer. He was smart in that he didn't ask for my email until quite some time into our conversations. He could also string some words together to form a sentence and spell. It wasn't until I asked if he had more photos that he said he would only send them to my email, when I refused to give email, he said goodbye. So feeling very silly, I was about to go hide. But STUFF THEM I say, I'm staying to read the threads etc.
