Come home to Me

The miles that separate you from me,
are far too many while you're gone at sea.
Time appears to be broken, as the days get long.
I refuse the tears I fight, trying to remain strong.
Eagerly awaiting the day your ship will berth,
When these empty arms (of mine) will embrace you for all it's worth.
