Tears trickle down the cheek so Over what I do not know Words exchanged in heated form Only to be left on deaf ears alone Was either right or so Tis not matter for the harm be done Pride and fear came about to do their harm And tears trickle down the cheek so Ahh but the darkest hand moves swift In unjust form Words but unheard, left unknown The silence burns the day and glows in the night As tears trickle down the cheek so Judgments made to do harm Ahhh how they highlight unknown flaws Made from the unheard words Emotions confound Ahhh but the scorn of an intimate trust Tears trickle down the cheek so To accept my blame I must To accept all the blame I cannot trust Yet tear trickle down the cheek so For what I do not know Words repeated over and over but left unheard Tis not so, they were left not understood They were left not wanting to be known For pain goes deep in the soul Scars cover the heart so A barrier to the known And tears trickle down the cheek so For what I do not know But the darkest hand moves swift All compassion gone.
