If your a poet your mind is unstable
A pencil and paper stay right on the table
Rushing thoughts keep flooding your head
Your creativity abounds thats enough said

They say we're bi-polar but thats not true
Its just our minds in overdrive me and you
We take random thoughts and put them in order
Some poems can be long while others are shorter

Mayhem and kaos rules every poets brain
They write words on paper to keep from going insane
Singers and songwriters you know what I mean
You write your thoughts out to live out your dreams

To become a great poet your mind is wide open
You have an impact on people you're the chosen
The sky is the limit there are no rules to follow
Some things you say are hard for people to swallow

You're filled with wisdom creative and bright
Some things you say have heads scratching at night
Oh! don't you wish you were the most intresting poet
But that would make you famous and you already know it!
