Who am I?

I am who I am..at least
that's what I think
I mean, who else could
I be unless I'm the
missing link?
I'm North, South, East,
and West
I'm the missing button
on your daddy's vest
I'm here, I'm near, and
I'm from afar
I'm as close as the moon
and as far as a star
I'm a half breed, crossbreed,
and everything between
Yet I am only you if you
get what I mean
I'm a thought within a
thought so who is doing
the thinking?
Unless of course you're
scratching your head and
wonder who's been drinking
No, my friend, tis but a
rhyme that you and I are
one of a kind
The only difference between
you and me is what our hearts
have learned to see~

Our hearts have learned to see
no difference between you and me.
No matter who is doing thinking, hearts make final decisions in essential matters, such as love ... never a missing link, always connecting and therefore the wisest to rely on. Enjoyed the poem very much, thank you!
