Tormented!

Tormented
Tormented with the Pain of Loneliness!
It crawls within the abscess of ones mind
A darken place where no one comes!
An abyss that knows no peace
A dark hole of it’s own making, a place to hide
Monster of mind’s depths
A place it hides, it gives no rest
It snarls and howls in the darkened lonely night
Grotesque features an awesome creature
that gives such fright
It lives, do you not see it,
oh how it hides, behind that rock,
over there in it’s nook, oh please beware
I wish that it would go away
But no, it stays with me, it found it’s home
It screams, it tears, knowing every lonely pain
It is deep inside, it is insane
It feeds on me, will not go away
There is no one that I can tell
It’s making my life a living hell!
It haunts me night and day
It wants of me as I of you,
To end this lonely feeling the whole night though
It comes to me, it knows it’s name!
I cry loneliness and it comes,
feeling of our sharing pain
Loneliness, I know it well, because I feel it too
Because I travel the world without you!
No one to share this loneliness with,
Oh what shall I do
Oh why did you go first,
I wanted too
In a world of many people
And many fish that live in the sea
Why is loneliness within, still living with me!
Sad is the Poet!

If only we should learn how to stand up for ourselves, if only we could learn how to cope with things that get in our way to happiness, after which we crave so much! Better think about tomorrow, how it is going to bring about changes we are looking forward to. Here is "A hope for me and a hope for you," and for everybody:
Begin Again
Every day is a fresh beginning,
Every day is the world made new;
You who are weary of sorrow and sinning,
Here is a beautiful hope for you-
A hope for me and a hope for you.
All the past things are past and over,
The tasks are done and the tears are shed;
Yesterday’s errors let yesterday cover;
Yesterday’s wounds, which smarted and bled,
Are healed with the healing which night has shed.
Yesterday now is a part of forever,
Bound up in a sheaf, which God holds tight;
With glad days, and sad days and bad days which never
Shall visit us more with their bloom and their blight,
Their fullness of sunshine or sorrowful night.
Let them go, since we cannot relieve them,
Cannot undo and cannot atone;
God in His mercy, receive, forgive them;
Only the new days are our own,
Today is ours, and today alone.
Here are the skies all burnished brightly,
Here is the spent earth all reborn,
Here are the tired limbs springing lightly
To face the sun and to share the morn,
In the chrism of dew and the cool of dawn.
Every day is a fresh beginning;
Listen, my soul, to the glad refrain,
And, spite of old sorrow and older sinning,
And puzzles forecasted and possible pain
Take heart with the day, and begin again.
(by Susan Coolidge (1835 - 1905) - the pen name used by Sarah Chauncey Woolsey)
New days are fading away
Old Days are past
Future days won't last!
Blood flows & wounds of loneliness
won't heal!
Ancient cragy tired limbs
Decay and fall on snows covered ground!
It is not the brightness of the day
but the darkness of the night
which gives loneliness it's dreaded fright!
Needed as one grows old
is a tender hand to hold
One that cares and says you're not alone!
I thank you for your words and poem!

A big beautiful woman

Danke shon ...
Du hast ein gross Herz!
First of all here is a BIG from me to you.
Loneliness touches everyone... young and old.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and heartfelt words...
Warm wishes to you, and I hope you find someone, who will take away your pain and fill the empty void you so long for.
Tis the Irish enchantress
cutting to the chase!
Capturing the heart of the poem as she does
to men's heart's!
"To find someone to fill the Void
and take away the pain of loneliness!"
I give to you a hug in reply
a bit less lonely!
