Down the Rabbit Hole

Always skirted around many a fundamental
inquisitive
I was by far

ducking and diving through many religions
that was my Ma

strange days of knocking on doors
"isn't this a beautiful day"
as the weather pushed its plan

I questioned much
as young as I was
yet told to quietly sit

maybe I just didn't fit?

years have seeped into memories
it's a wonderment of a trilogy
a peep back in the past
so I could see

That really
It is
all within oneself

to dust the cobwebs from the shelf

To what has gravitated
to a pool of knowledge

Such a nice day to reap amongst the foliage
