God is good OK....He may gives us trials but He brings us to the streams of to quench our souls and lie down in Peace.Though I had walked through the valleys of bitterness He brought me out and placed me in a place where He has given someone to protect me from evil people,I am grateful for this and wil cherish my god's choice for me.This is truly a lovely write may god continue to bless you & Nu like He has blessed us.

I took for granted, showed no respect Nor gratitude for the gift His blood has bought, my life!
As ever your poetry comes from your soul, I felt quite sad reading 'I took for granted' I took my dear Mother for granted, there is so much I want to say to her now she is gone, we never miss the water, till the well runs dry. Thank you for being you.
PeachMelba not sure if we've met earlier from here but what you said really touch a chord inside my heart... Thank you so much...God Bless!

Wonderful poem... and the things you bring out - some which I'd never thought of nor ever heard put in such a way:
'When life was good, all things seem good Shallow things, shallow times, shallow peers; Like a shadow that constantly follows' - so true and filled with wisdom, yet never occurring to me; I can certainly see it now after reading your words.
I received a daily readings book as a gift some time back called 'Streams in the Desert' - didn't realize at first it was about living 'in the desert' - but it's turned out to be a great book - very inspiring and your poem has brought out those things so well.
