Intermission

It's time to run for popcorn
and soda
Before the plot begins
To thicken
This movie of your life
Is long
But the pace might
surely quicken
The heroes, the villians the
Cowards and saints
Are the actors on your
Stage
Should you hate the one
And love the other
Who play the fool
Or sage?
Will this saga that
Portrays your life end
With resounding victory
Or shall the villians who
played their part so well
Rejoice in your despair
And misery?
So take your seat and let
The movie roll on
And consider one chilling
Fact
That the choices you made
Through out your long
Weary life
Are choices you'll never
Take back.

Very nice CJj2...very nice indeed! A good reminder that one should NEVER die with regrets! So start living in the moment, life is short, and may your last moment be the best of all! hug purple heart wine

Which means we could always reconsider our ways and make amends, and do what is right to shed load from shoulders. It needs making a true effort, something unusual for some of us, but then we could move on with our lives and catch up with whatever we've missed, and even find happiness if we have luck! So I wish you good luck, dear poet, and many thanks for sharing this poem!hug

Hi, cafetwo2010,
...the choices you made...Are choices you'll never Take back... certainly, this is Fact. Of course, I do hope there is room for mending. Thanks for sharing the message that, in life, those Intermissions are important to keep our bodies, and minds, nourished.

markia.. Most wisely stated dear. There's always room for
change. Life's little intermissions help us catch our breath
and give us pause to reflect. Perhaps poetry itself is a series
of mini intermissions.

Ok, I can't imagine Café, but where on earth or space do you come up with the theme/plot/foundation for the poetry? I absolutely love this, oh wise one....applause

gnj.. Thank you dear. I suppose we are forever mending. But that just tells us that we live by
principles outside ourselves.

Diana. The themes of plot are born of love and life. Cafekiss
