RESIDENCE IN MY HEART
You have a residence, in my heart
That internally, feeds the frozen parts.
Apart of me that's distant & cold.
But has no resistance,
to the warmth you hold.
You have a possession,
Of my mind.
That occupies memories,
Severed & re-aligned
Apart of me that shivers & shakes
The dark place I hide, when I can't
Escape.
That small beam of light,
That penetrates through
My conscious reminder
Of me, loving you
That brings me back, free & anew
You have a spirit, that connects
This fuel
That's fights the anger, when
This world seems amused
It lifts the shackles & battles
My tears
The reason why fate, keeps us near.
As long as the sun radiates our blue skys
Before the moon smirks it's good nights
There in this heart, you will reside
