Flat tired flat broke A cowboy without a saddle And I'm out of rope
No matter where I travel Land or sea her memory Always stays afloat
Every night I sleep beneath a thousand mile sky With all those stars shinning down But sleep don't come till early dawn I yawn Drinking flat coffee as I drive to town
Flat tire no spare I think I've been there before Flat tired flat broke I can't take anymore
Brace up and carry on, like we all do, cause life is more than that, it is too precious and too short to despair like that. Your poems are always special cause many of us can relate. Thanks for sharing them with us! Kindest regards!
things are not that bad maybe years ago something similar like that happened as you may notice sometimes I go a month or two without a poem so when one pops in my head I write it on here so I don't forget it I wish they had some more categories for poems most of the time I don't know what to put it under anyway just keep in mind these are not always true story poems they just seem to come out of the blue I don't know how that happens thanks for your concern but there is no need to be I'm ok and thanks for reading and commenting on my poems
