He came into the world to be the way And sometimes people thought he was hard to understand But he kept pressing on day after day He was not frightened by the sins of man
Salvation was even written on the bottom of his feet For he walked everywhere And when he sat down The ground became his seat
His compassion became known as people were healed Joy entered their hearts as they became filled His holy presence was something to behold And ever after his story would be told
So why did they mock and slap him he committed no crime He kept silent trying to heal the blind What did they say about him as they drove nails in his hands He was not frightened by the sins of man
He was not frightened by the sins of man because He knew who He was and His purpose for coming to this earth. He feared nothing, and taught the few that would listen that faith is the truest opposition of fear.
