Fragments

Frozen moments in time
Shatters like glass
A window of our exsistance into the unknown
Our destination of design awaits within
With a voice we will rise with our hearts we cry
Is it lack of faith or just excuses for lack of inspiration
For what we have and what we always take
But eventually like monuments we will whither and crumble away

fjames: I too have snips and lines and treasures and stuff stored that occasionally yields up something for me. I never start clean slate. ;-)

I never like to not finish what I started and the past few poems have been snips and lines and treasures. the even cooler thing is that they are finished or at least a piece and maybe a couple went in a whole other direction but I am happy with the result of waiting.

sometimes i think the fragments are the best parts...the only trouble i have is hanging onto them until they bloom into something.

it's a nice piece, and i love the last line.

thank you everyone I knew I was onto something 6 years ago when I had my first thoughts on this but maybe it was meant to be shared before complete lol. I think this fragment word would of been a good title,
