You are here when I’m wrong. You’re my heart, you’re my mind… When I’m weak, you are strong. You're my eyes when I'm blind. When I fall, when I’m lost, You are here, you’re my way. When I’m hell, you are frost. When I’m coast, you are bay.
I love Maya Angelou's poems. They are so eloquent and true to life.

IN MY CAR I SAW A BIRD IN MID FLIGHT GET CLIPPED BY A TRUCK AND KNOCKED INTO TRAFFIC AND SQUASHED. WHEN SPONTANEOUSLY I ASKED MY QUESTION, I WAS THINKING OF MORE ON THE LINES OF KARMIC ISSUES BUT GOT ANOTHER ANSWER ENTIRELY. LATER I IMAGINED THE BIRD LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR MY INSIGHT. I was inspired to write this poem when I contemplated the idea of Jesus knowing this widow's grief due to His own knowledge of separation from His beloved Father. Being God's sacrificial gift to mankind for the remedy of sin and death, Jesus knew a level of grief and pain beyond anyone's imagination. He did what He could to ease the hardships of those He ministered to as a means of showing where hope was to those who otherwise saw life as being hopeless! Just as true today as it ever was! .... Jesus saves!
