Oh My Love Where are you

Oh My Love,Where are you

When I am with you,the only place I want to be is closer … Where are you my love? I need the star shine of your heavenly eyes, after the day's great sun Where are you my love? Snow has fallen, and the ground has disappeared & I feel your nowhere ne

NOT THE PERFECT WOMAN

2/18/2020: Beware! There is a troll loose in the the CS poetry section. Reading all the guys profiles, it seems like that they all want a wonder woman who likes to do all the things they like to do (guy things)and she needs to look like a supermodel to boot. Oh well - I must admit we women too fantasize on our perfect man - but if the chemistry is there - I believe the chemistry is what makes the person perfect in OUR eyes. However, people can be false and leer you in with that chemistry and you don't realize it until it's too late.

il mio respiro per correre my breath to run

il mio respiro per correre (my breath to run)

Doirasi

This is from a story of mine involving a Spartan who interacts with the world outside New Sparta, and though he realized that he is more than what he seems, he still keeps to what he always was.

ALTERED EGO

ALTERED EGO

This poem was inspired by the fairy tale mirror mirror on the wall... I thought mirror mirror on the ceiling would be a nice adult Twist. This was part of a project where we were decorating mirrors... My full length mirror was decorated fit for Freddie Mercury... and was exhibited at the Alley Theatre Strabane.

Published in the December 2019/January 2020 issue of the Newark Valley Moonlighter! By the middle of January everyone is feeling the blues from the short dark cold days and let down after the holidays. Hoping to perk a few people up.

It was a gorgeous sunny day ... On the day you passed away. Suddenly, the day didn’t seem so nice anymore ... I was feeling so hurt, down to my very core. Since then I’ve thought of you, day in and day out ... I just miss you so deeply

God Is Not Invisible

God Is Not Invisible

God is not invisible, I can see Him in your face... The lines He chose to shape your place in this time-tested space... God is not invisible, when I look into your eyes... The lies you tell, they matter not, despite my tearful cries... God reme

That Day

That Day ...

Once upon a time ... You were living life just fine. But, the sky, that day Was a dark, dreary gray. Then, in the blink of an eye ... You became a very different guy. No fault of your own You were simply headed home. A victim

A vivid dream I awoke to... then taking down notes, I compiled it into this poem I felt the dream to be very significant and was amazed at how much I recalled.

Its alright for you to laugh

"It's alright for you to laugh "

I met these two old ladies in Bundoran who were quite miserable in their pain and mistakenly thought I was laughing at them... Yet God used that opportunity to relay good news about how I had overcome the painful condition of arthritis.

I Am

I Am

This poem was written after I was laying face down in my pillow sobbing I felt a warm hand on my shoulder Yet nobody was there in the room with me The presence of the comforting hand enabled me to spring to my feet and write this poem I felt strongly that this presence was God and came to help me free myself and my children from cohesive abuse... Reflecting on The poem has helped me throughout my life to remember who I am in God... I found this poem to be very powerful when recited live on stage for performance poetry

This is a poetical stand for those people who have taken their own lives in Ireland this year. If Ireland’s suicide rate keeps going at the same pace. Ireland will lose over 2000 people by the end of the year. Please don’t let happen. Make our government stand up and take notice of this epidemic before it is too late.

No Peace

Something I began writing last year but as I tend to do, I got side-tracked and didn't finish. It is now done. Written with no offence to anyone and if you have taken offence, chances are you've missed the point.
