No words could describe war..but my thanks to the great ones who died giving me the freedom to write these words. Their reward in heaven is great.
My heart i see you every night like this. My dark man who brings light to my nights.
one of the times when I fell like poking fun at us males. So often the males of many species suffer the same fate.
When all seems to fall short, it's because we sometimes stray off of the path that God has for us but He is merciful & kind; so tis true that He knows of all our short comings... May God continue too bless all that believe & recieve...

Chance Meeting We crossed paths, and simply said "hello". A one chance meeting, but little did we know. A brief interlude, a silent spell. Sharing small moments causing hearts to swell. Exchanging words, feeling like a school kid. Oblivious

Not really a poem, just unwanted thoughts, feelings i forgot. I guess I forgave myself for allowing myself to be hurt.
Not for trying, no denieing, within these empty glasses, glancing at the clock as surely time upon us passes, twists of fate or perhaps natures harmony, i stand here naked open to betrail.

For a time, I really liked my best friend. I told her using this poem. It didn't work out. We're still friends, but now we're back to just being friends. I just thought I'd share this poem because I plan to put all my poems on this site. They describe my life.
The back story behind this is too long to tell. Basically, I really liked a girl in tenth grade. The night before this happened, I had called her to ask her out over the phone. Right before I was about to ask, she said she had something to tell me. She said she already had a boyfriend and the reason she didn't tell me was because they didn't know if they could work things out. I was crushed, but I denied it. So the next day I arrived to school already angry. And this is what happened.
I wrote this poem for my tech when I was in the hospital for throat trouble. She was younger then me, she was a college student studying nursing. I gave her a copy of this poem to keep. I still think of her.
