Only small thoughts... Solo piccoli pensieri...

love is truly a fragile yet special gift gave to all of us, by God himself placed deep with in our hearts, and when we find the one true person who was placed on
I was touched by the sad plights of our young souls caught in the abyss of prostitution. I was reading Jeffrey Epstein and the many victims of his evil deeds. It breaks my heart. I titled it to signify the lies they promise to the victims and families when their first approach them. I've seen a grim documentary presented by Demi Moore about their recruiting strategy in Asia especially Nepal, Philippines, etc. Very sad. Thanks all for your reads and comments if any.
Published in the December 2019/January 2020 issue of the Newark Valley Moonlighter! By the middle of January everyone is feeling the blues from the short dark cold days and let down after the holidays. Hoping to perk a few people up.

This is from a story of mine involving a Spartan who interacts with the world outside New Sparta, and though he realized that he is more than what he seems, he still keeps to what he always was.
This poem was inspired by the fairy tale mirror mirror on the wall... I thought mirror mirror on the ceiling would be a nice adult Twist. This was part of a project where we were decorating mirrors... My full length mirror was decorated fit for Freddie Mercury... and was exhibited at the Alley Theatre Strabane.
When I am with you,the only place I want to be is closer … Where are you my love? I need the star shine of your heavenly eyes, after the day's great sun Where are you my love? Snow has fallen, and the ground has disappeared & I feel your nowhere ne
2/18/2020: Beware! There is a troll loose in the the CS poetry section. Reading all the guys profiles, it seems like that they all want a wonder woman who likes to do all the things they like to do (guy things)and she needs to look like a supermodel to boot. Oh well - I must admit we women too fantasize on our perfect man - but if the chemistry is there - I believe the chemistry is what makes the person perfect in OUR eyes. However, people can be false and leer you in with that chemistry and you don't realize it until it's too late.
I believe you are there, Somewhere in the endless air, A presence felt but never seen, A whisper in the silent dream. You are the gentle touch of breeze, That rustles through the autumn trees, The warmth of sun upon my face, A reminder of yo

It was a gorgeous sunny day ... On the day you passed away. Suddenly, the day didn’t seem so nice anymore ... I was feeling so hurt, down to my very core. Since then I’ve thought of you, day in and day out ... I just miss you so deeply
God is not invisible, I can see Him in your face... The lines He chose to shape your place in this time-tested space... God is not invisible, when I look into your eyes... The lies you tell, they matter not, despite my tearful cries... God reme

"Ode to the Heart of a Soldier" is a powerful and emotionally resonant poem that explores the interior life of a soldier. Through its eight stanzas, the poem delves into the profound dedication, courage, and sense of purpose that fuels a soldier's journey. It honors the sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the protection of their homeland. The poem doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of war, instead, it emphasizes the soldier's bravery and determination even in the face of adversity. The soldier's love for their country, their willingness to fight for freedom and peace, and their unyielding spirit are all highlighted as key themes. The poem's title aptly encapsulates the spirit of the work, which is a tribute to the soldier's heart - the courage, the dedication, and the love that drives them. It serves as an homage to all soldiers, their resilience, their sacrifices, and their undying commitment to their cause. In its essence, "Ode to the Heart of a Soldier" is an exploration of the human spirit under extreme circumstances, illustrating the strength and resilience that defines a soldier.
Comfort for those who need it. What is life but light and darkness? Choose. Just a few moments, hrs, days more, then the dawn…embrace it wholly!
The poem is all about the anxiety and excitement that drives through my bloodstream whenever I plan going for any trip and it has become that living souls that hunts me and will keep hunting me.
The poem "Queen Searching Lost Kingdom" is a beautiful and deeply evocative narrative, eloquently capturing the journey of a queen in search of her lost realm. It effortlessly weaves the theme of perseverance, love, and the power of hope through its exquisite lines. (To Maharlika)

For those people who believe in destiny.
Something I began writing last year but as I tend to do, I got side-tracked and didn't finish. It is now done. Written with no offence to anyone and if you have taken offence, chances are you've missed the point.
