Endless

For our relationship came to a crashing halt,
I know a lot of our problems were all my fault...
If only we could go back with all that I've learned,
But now is to late once the bridges were burned...

Regardless of all the sadness we each felt,
We took the best from the cards we were dealt...
I'll never forget the times we both shared,
Always remember the times we both cared...

Its hard to believe that it ended so fast,
Hard to accept that its all in the past...
What more can I say with a simple rhyme,
This poem is short yet endless in time...

Our Dance

I could tell how she looked at me,
Was with her friends but she broke free...
In my arms she whispered softly,
To demonstrate our passion apparently...

On the floor we made our stands,
Then upon her hips I placed my hands...
With the rhythm we slowly swayed,
Maintained the beat as the music played...

With wolf whistles from the crowd,
Pressed me close ignoring cheers so loud...
Indeed I spun her around on spot,
Our feverish excitement was boiling hot...

She smiled bright as I hoisted high,
Dipped her low and heard the crowd sigh...
Her glittering eyes found my heart,
Completely entwined no end nor start...

I could tell how she looked at me,
Without this girl my life would be empty...
Once this relationship was birthed,
I knew my life would be forever cursed...

(CHORUS)
She told me,
That she would never hurt me...
But we'll see,
Has anyone ever made you feel that way...

Words to my Unknown

These are my words to my unknown;

Because there's nothing left to hide,
These words spilling out my insides...
I knew it wasn't easy, but never worn,
Caught me running through a storm...

These are my words to my unknown;

Now I wonder if you'll ever feel me,
I love so much it's going to kill me...
Lost in my mind and my troubled soul,
Send me one that will make me whole...

These are my words to my unknown;

Can you picture one in a rush to give,
Fighting to give love a chance to live...
To see the truth behind a broken man,
Lost for time and just a simple plan...

These are my words to my unknown;

I wonder if I'm wrong when I do this,
Write a poem and seal it with a kiss...
But, please don't get it wrong though,
Cause if I'm buggin' I can let you go...

These are my words to my unknown;

Lost Love

Looking back, it's just a dream to me; it was beautiful, enchantingly beautiful. But it is lost and I shall not see it anymore; though, I am content. For I love with all the strength of my passionate nature; why, I do not know.

Nor do I much care to know; evidently, I should cherish both coming together and going apart to understand love. Our fleeting moments pressed upon my mind; so that when they were taken away I might restore and double them by the blur of my tears.

I know how they look at me; yet, I say and write what I feel and brave all the shame that they so easily reward. It is better to be hated for what I am than to be loved for what I am not. Is my loneliness just an invitation from my heart to share myself?

I remember her words; delicate crystals of snow, cascading ripples of love, our hearts silently pleading for comfort. Why not give favor to the impulse and invitation this loneliness offers? Look closely, love desires expression; are we too busy? Are our days too actively filled; or is the absence there of the foundation of our love, waiting for us?

Yet, what are we waiting for; fragments of a new or lost love, a frail glimpse of a could be, except cautiously approached? Who seeks to betray the impulse of the heart; persuading themselves to wait, to slow one beloved? Who lingers on this place; contemplating, when a stroke of absence may bring this foundation collapsing.

Staggering off the scene, calloused hearts, maintained when we confine ourselves to our bored routines. Our stage, this love; preparations have been set, carefully tended to, yet, we extinguish the flame in our fear. Suppose we gave it a chance to blossom; astonished, exhilarating and unexpected, more than we suspected?

Oh what extraordinary events would be revealed to us in our companionship; enhancing our entire physical and spiritual journey and nature. Why do we wait; to narrowly escape this spectacular arrangement? Continually retreating, refusing and convincing ourselves of something other? Why are we so stubborn that we care not of that which tugs at our hearts and pleads for our communion?

Would you love it if you did not fight for it? Would you love it if it was too easy? Yet, would you sacrifice it for fear, for tradition or for others? Or perhaps, will you forever wait or settle for an illusion; looking forward and backward, but not within?

A LOVERS DREAM

I've always wondered sweetheart
What would a girl do
For a guy with a huge heart
Would she kiss him for no reason
In good times or bad anytime of season

Would she greet him at the door
With a huge kiss and smiles galore
Would she hold his hand so tight
That he would grab her
With all of his might

Would she roll around and play
Every waking moment of the day
Would he love her to death
Keep all his promises to her
Love her to the very end
Until theres nothing left

Would he write her a poem
And take her on a romantic trip
To the alps of italy and the city of rome
Would she dance with him all night
As her head lies on his shoulder
Two hearts as one until the very first light

Would she take him to a remote waterfall
Lather each other up in suds
Laugh and hug just have a ball
Would he place his hand on her heartbeat
Kiss her all over her entire body
Make her face turn as red as a beet

I've always wondered my love
Am I you're guy with a huge heart
Are you my sensual white dove
Would you fly away with me
Isn't that the way love should be
Let's kiss for eternity just you and me!

GOD'S CREATION

OF ALL GOD'S CREATIONS,
IN ALL OF THE WORLD;
THEIRS NOT ONE THAT'S AS BEAUTIFUL,
AS I KNOW THAT YOU ARE;
I'VE PRAYED JUST FOR SOMEONE,
TO BE JUST LIKE YOU;
BUT IT'S ONLY KNOW IN HEAVEN,
IF GOD CREATED TWO;
I KNOW SOMEDAY YOU WILL FIND YOUR
COMPANION,
AND MAYBE SOMEDAY I WILL TOO;
I JUST WISH THAT GOD HAD PLANNED IT,
THAT MY COMPANION COULD HAVE BEEN YOU;.........

My Sweetheart

Sitting here with a coke and a smile
Thinking about my sweetheart for a while
Oh baby I am always thinking about you
You are stuck in my mind like glue
I find myself wanting you more and more
That is because you are the one I adore
You are always on my mind
You my sweetheart are one of a kind

Hugs N Kisses

Expression of the Heart

A kiss, soft and sweet, full of passion and desire. Or cold and calloused, stiff and unfeeling. Thus we must be within. For a kiss is an expression, that comes from the heart.

About this poem:
When I was a child, my great grandmother use to pass along bits of wisdom to us, as she got us ready for bed. This poem encompasses how she described kissing, to my older sisters.
When i was 5 years old, she was 104 years old. To say the least, she passed to us, the values she had grown up with, which are now very rare.

a used up dream

Spent all last night staring into your eyes
Hoping for something new tommorrow
Trying to figure out where this would lead
Never felt this feeling in my heart before
Now I know this is what I really need

She said you can't start the day
Staring at me that way
I already know whats on your mind
So if I mean that much
Let's go out for some lunch

And go grab a glass of wine
After that you can show me around
We can have a real great time
So I said do you think we're moving
A little to fast I want your love to last

She said oh! babe i've done this before
To capture your heart so you could easily score
No strings attached like all the other guys before
I'm a working girl you just can't ignore
I hope you don't mind please don't be sore!

She said now that you know what I'm all about
Go ahead and say it just scream it out
What do you say now are you feeling in doubt
How does it feel tell me what you think
When a girl like me can be gone in a blink

I said with my love so strong
You've got me totally wrong
I will always be by your side
Through every high tide
My feelings will never subside

So just get up and leave
Go do whatever you want
I don't want to believe
You live a life of lies
And be someone you're not

Oh! babe thats what I wanted to hear
You're a man with integrity
A man that will always be there
Its what every woman wants
But seldom ever hears

I know in my heart you're the one for me
You're more than I ever had
I needed to see what you would do
I just had to test you
I wanted to make sure you'd see!

Tangled Vines

I see the sun in your eyes, and I feel your heart within mine. I close my eyes and I hear your thoughts like whispers, from every dark corridor in my mind. I feel your presence all around me, even through space and time, I feel our souls connecting just like tangled vines. I need you more than ever to feel me, and my whole design, I've never felt this much pleasure, least in this life time. I can love you forever, and I hope this gives you peace of mind, as I gaze here with wonder as your hand reaches for mine, then a kiss of pleasure, with your breath a hint of red wine, as my body tingles all over, I feel so alive as our souls connect, for the first time.
