Forest Rain.

Forest rain
So appeasing,
Rushing torrent
Hear it breathing,
Sigh release
Softly speaking,
Source of solace
Touching souls
Those who listen.

See it splash
Leaf to leaf,
Watch it streaming
Down the timbers,
In mossy bark cracks
Quietly seeping,
In forest floor
Disappearing,
Secret streams
Search for rivers,
Sweetened waters
Slipping onwards
To the sea.

About this poem:
I would hope that the reader would expreience something sensuous and spiritual. The normal buzz of insects and birdsong fall quiet during a good refreshing down pour from the heavens, leaving only the unignorable patter of rain on the canopy and the breath of the wind that follows. To be alone in a great forest and experience this, is a privilage. If you listen, you will hear it speak! Maybe you can hear it now?

...LiFE so importAnt....

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

LULLABY OF REASON

What are you looking at?
I am talking to you Delta,
And to you, Nigeria,
Not left out is Africa.
Why the differences?
Why the bloody scenes?

Delta, stop seeing the hats
See the hearts.
Nigeria, forget the tribes
And focus on lives.
Africa, forget he or she is white,
We all have a right.

Commit these words to memory,
They are for us all;
The hat, the tribe and the colour
Speak no peace but war.
But the heart speaks of love.

Our common enemy is not Tutsi or Huti
Our enemy is poverty.

love me now

I have loved you for so long
And the more I love you
The more you withdraw from me
How can I make you know
That what I feel is real
You will never find
Anyone to love you the way I do
Like I do with all my heart
Why can't you see me
And understand my love
That I feel for you
Everyday I think about
Ways to make you know
That our love was meant to be
Don't throw away our love
love me now.

I will treasure everymin that i have with you
I will treasure every second i get with you
i will treasure your heart when im with you
i will treasure every word as the mean the world to me
And every little look i get
I will treasure with my thought
But most of all i will treasure your body

Tender White Clouds

Tender white clouds
suspended in blue jewelled sky
hovering overhead
a protective canopy
holding rain
let not a drop fall
to spoil my picnic
long, lush green grass
about bare feet
swaying red poppies
dancing with butterflies
nature's carpet unfurls
for miles around
no heavy breath of traffic
no shrieks or screams
just the whisper of wisdom
from tender white clouds
