leigh2154: Dear Jac...Please realize that, unlike you, most here are not mind readers.....did he tell you this, confirm it, or are you just exploiting him to push you own agenda... ?
It's not me that feels the need to try and justify my actions, although you obviously do.
You would have done better to have the grace to apologise to the OP for your totally unnecessary rudeness.

When and "if" he confirms that "to me" I will be more than happy to issue a public apology, now, how about you answer my question to you....did the man confirm to you that he has dyslexia, yes or no??????????????

What's taking you so long Jac, trying to get confirmation after the fact?....or are you guilty of what you constantly accuse others of?...NOT ANSWERING QUESTIONS WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN FALSE ACCUSATIONS AND PUT DOWNS?
PS:...I have to leave for a few hours to take care of daddy, so take all the time you need.. Have a lovely day...
This is also very telling...if he just joined, how would you have managed to find out so much personal information about him?..Do you have a direct line into all "personal" info about new members?....Whats the time line...new members must report to Jac within 24 hours of signing up?
jac379: I agree, I appreciate feedback on my spelling and even a little teasing from those who know me and treat me with affection.
There is a very big difference between this and arrogant belittling of a new poster in an attempt to make him appear stupid.
Go and read the first page again, Lucy.
Not much of a welcome, not kind, nor a particularly positive learning experience for the OP.
hi again jac,
i guess it is a case where we have to agree to disagree as i can't see Leigh's post as "arrogant belittling of a new poster in an attempt to make him appear stupid"...
what i have seen is her poiting out his spelling mistakes and the others (me included) somewhat following her, who saying thank-you, who wanting to marry her for being helpful to understand the OP

leigh2154: Does he have dyslexia Jac???? This was a fun, upbeat thread till you popped in with you incessant lecturing...
I don't owe you any answers, Leigh. You do not own me. Even if you owned the thread, or the site, I do not owe you anything.
I will not publically highlight the typically dyslexic errors that the OP has made that I can evaluate based on my education, experience and research in this area, without his permission.
If I am wrong, regardless of the root of his spelling errors, does that justify you hijacking his thread to rudely and arrogantly belittle him? His OP is more than clear enough for a native English speaker such as yourself to answer his poll. If you don't wish to do that, then find something you do wish to answer appropriately.
It seems your idea of a fun, upbeat thread is my idea of bullying a new forum member for something as petty as a few spelling errors. It might be fun, or sport for you, but the whole idea of the forums is that its fun for everyone.
I understand why you're angry. This is not the first time I've challenged your bullying behaviour.
