I have always loved shopping for clothes and trawling the shops. However when I lived in England I gradually started shopping online as I found Oxford Street too stressful with too many shops. When I first moved back to Malta I was unemployed and severely depressed so not only could I not afford to shop neither did I want to. Now that I'm back on track employment wise, yesterday I took the car and did a spot of shopping and guess what I enjoyed it. Ok, so I spent all my budget at two shops and stayed within one shopping mall but I am so happy that I can enjoy things like shopping again. I feel alive and it gave me something to do on a Saturday. Have you ever been too depressed to shop? Do you get a rush going home and trying on your wares or waiting for a parcel to arrive? Do you pine to fit into your favourites which are a size too small?

grocery shopping is always online, because i find it tedious apart from fruit and veg-that takes me to the open market,i like to handpick them and buy, what looks and smells fresh.. clothes, shoes, cosmetics ,presents and all the personal stuff i buy personally, but only when im in "shopping"mood.. of course i ve had times when i havent been able to buy, what i need, but, back then that was the last thing to be worried about..

I also like to do both. But if I could I would love to be able to do all online shopping. I find by online shopping I have a wider variety of choices. I like wedgewood decor. Some of the older pieces. Not so easy to find in my area. But I have acquired some nice pieces from on line.
Have you ever been too depressed to shop? I have not only been to depressed to shop but after the death of my husband I was to depressed to even go to the hairdressers. I found myself one day walking around with a hole in my jeans and that woke me up.
Do you get a rush going home and trying on your wares or waiting for a parcel to arrive? I do One time I had gotten a new stero and the day befor it was to be here I could not sleep that night I was so excited
Do you pine to fit into your favourites which are a size too small? I pretty much stay the same size. Every now and then if I do not feel well I might lose some weight but it will find its way home when I feel better
I just want to add ml that if the moment is right I do enjoy shopping in the physical sense of getting dressed and going. I am also like I have heard you say about yourself comfortable at home. I enjoy doing things at home. Gardening, reading, cooking, etc....But I do like a good art exhibit

People from London very rarely go to Oxford Street, I live 20 minutes away but as far as im concerned it could be 20 miles away, I leave it for the tourists.. There are plenty of places to shop in London rather than O/S
I don't get excited about shopping, not even food shopping. I can't remember the last time I went to the mall. Never did like the mall because I don't like crowds of people. Now that I'm retired I don't need clothes. Occassionally I buy shoes online from a company that gives free shopping and if I have to return the shoes it's free shipping back to the company. Being retired and not knowing if I'll get a social security check next month I need to be frugal with my money. I prefer to see the numbers get bigger on the bank statement then shop just because I have nothing to do.

I like crafting. I also like thrifting. I get craft items at the thrift store and then use the items for sewing and crafting. I also get the really GOOD stuff on Ebay. Ebay has oodles of sewing supplies and craft supplies.
I like both but, there are times where I wish I could walk into the Hollister store and shop around in there with the lovely scents from their perfume. Also, being able to walk into Victoria Secret and try the perfumes and stuff. On line there are no lines or anything. Town, I perfer though.
I prefer to shop in town as I can check the items before buying. But when it comes to ticketing (plane or train) and hotel booking, I would rather do it online..
