Witchaywoman: Do you know any folklore about omens? One day I saw a yellow butterfly and a few days later saw a monarch in the same place. Some kinda hoodoo there.
I`m not sure about omens, but one time I walked under a ladder and at the same time tripped on a black cat while trying to catch a butterfly that fell into a bottle.......

Don't cross the path of a black cat. If you put shoes on any furniture you will soon have bad luck. If you believe any of this you are superstitious, klutsy and afraid of your own shadow!
By golly.....you have something there......I have an appointment in the morning at Carpentersville to get them cut......How about buying me a cup of coffee...?

Some people over here say that if a bird flies into a house or building , it is a sign of a death. This has happened , by all accounts , to someone I know.

In ancient times, policy was decided by which way a flock of birds flew...(Augury)...
The white birds flew east at sunset. Let's kill all the unbelievers...
Sometimes a sign is just that, a sign...I was driving down the street and I saw a red hexagonal omen...I think it meant I was supposed to apply the brakes...

Did it make you wanna STOP dead in your tracks Bodhi???
What if I dreamed that a man came out of a flaming pie. told me to watch episode 12, 27 and 44 of Ghost Whisperer and then turned into a Voodoo zombie and chased a black cat across a pond of mercury?
